An animal´s hair is a thread similar to a human hair that consists of a lot of components, especially protein. Quality and growth speed of hair depends on a lot of things – both genetic factors and general health state of the animal, as well as on the climate, year´s season and style of care.

Hair of each breed and an individual is indiferentne, though. Every professional knows that there may be big differences even between individuals of the same breed - hair can be thin, thick, soft, firm, sparse, plentiful, elastic and dry. Natural structure of hair is genetically determined, it can, however, be influenced by nourishment, wind, draught, humidity, cold, sun, dusty environment and statical electricity. It is necessary to keep hair clean and free of dust - because dust may weaken, abrade hair and consequently result in its thinning and breaking. It is difficult to comb dusty hair, as such you´ll more pull out than comb. Statical electricity causes hair tangling and breaking (e.g. movement of the animal on silon carpets, hair brushing with plastic brushes, treatment with cosmetics containing inappropriate silicones, etc.). Hair well cared for and its perfect outloock is the pride of every owner, it is a symbol of beauty, evidence of correct care and good health of the animal. Only an animal with beautiful hair has the chance to win – and the cosmetics BEA natur will help you to achive this aim.

WHICH PRODUCTS TO CHOOSE

The whole collection of the cosmetics BEA natur is composed in such a manner that everybody can choose the right products – according to the type and quality of hair. There are a few types of hair. On each product you can find symbols of dogs and cats according to which you will know for which type of hair the product is suitable.

Symbol of a Dachshund – suitable for all breeds of dogs with short, close-fitting hair, such as: short-haired Dachshund, Great Dane, German Boxer, French Dobermann, Basset Hound, French Bulldog, English Bulldog, short-haired Chihuahua, Dalmatinac, Pug-dog, Pinscher, Rotvailer, Rhodesian Ridgeback and other breeds with similar type of hair.

Symbol a Afghan Greyhound – suitable for all breeds of dogs with long, half-long and flowing hair, such as: Afghan Greyhound, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese Dog, English and American Cocker Spaniel, long-haired Dachshund, Irish Setter, King Charles Spaniel, Papillon, Japan-chin, Lhasa-apso, Shih-tzu and other breeds with similar hair type.

Symbol of a Poodle – suitable for all breeds of dogs with voluminous hair, such as: French Poodle, Bichon frisé, Bobtail and other breeds with similar hair type.

Every product is designated with a number, i.e. the product number. This allows an easy orientation. It is enough to remember the number of the product you use, so it is not necessary to remember its name.

COMBINE INDIVIDUAL PRODUCTS

YouIyou have If you have for example a poodle or a bichon with very good hair, we recommend for the preparation of your dog for an exhibition to use such products which strengthen more hair and make it more voluminous – so those products which have a symbol of a poodle on the etiquette. For the time between the exhibitions ( to enable the maintenance) it is possible to use the products with the symbol of an Afghan Greyhound – thus those products which make hair smoother, more falling, more sliding, more easily maintenable.

In case of an individual with inmature, soft or thin and falling hair – it is necessary to strengthen it more and give it more volume – that is why we can use for the exhibitional styling the products with the symbol of the terrier - Terrier Shampoo ( No. 4) – although this shampoo is determined for dogs with hard hair – and therefore we use it – it does not soften hair. Subsequently we use the Protein Conditioner ( No.10), or the luxury Protein Balsam (No. 20) for its volume and strength.

In cases that hair is on contrary extremely thick, but not elastic, dry, unflexible, with tendency of tangling – such hair needs more care. At first we have to regenerate it, i.e. eliminate unflexibility and dryness. In the time between the exhibitions we recommend to use a shampoo with regenerating effect ( No. 3) and the luxury Regenerating balsam ( No.19), or Lanoline oil (No. 21) mixed with a Protein conditioner or Silk conditioner ( No. 10, 11) for its „conservation“. When hair is all right and we need it to prepare for another exhibition, we use the Fine shampoo ( No.1) or a shampoo according to the colour of hair, and always the Silk conditioner ( c.9) after using the shampoo – then hair will be fine, smoother and easier for the styling and it will not fall – with perfect plentifulness it even cannot fall due to the fact that „ one hair leans against one another“ – there is so much hair that it is nowhere to fall. The Silk conditioner can be mixed in the ratio 1:1 with the Protein conditioner ( No. 10) in order to achieve bigger volume. If, however, hair is sort of thin, we will use the above mentioned procedure of regeneration. For the exhibitional styling, the Protein shampoo ( No.2) or Terrier shampoo ( No.4) or a shampoo according to the colour of hair plus the Protein conditioner ( No.10) for bigger volume, or also the Vitalizing volume foam ( No. 16) or the luxury Protein balsam ( No. 20) are used. All these examples apply to the breeds with voluminous hair!

To say simply: if there is a problem with hair – you must handle it immediately (between the exhibitions). The styling for the exhibitions and competitions, it is necessary to use or combine the products according to the type, colour, condition and thickness of hair. As the hair types are different as per the breed and quality of hair, it is necessary to test everything in advance and find out which products are the most suitable to use for particular hair.

All the products are the concentrates and the ratio of dilution for every animal is different, that is why the ratios of dilution given on every products is only rough information !
